Originally from Kazakhstan, Tahir and Harsan Lifanov arrived in Quebec as teenagers with their family.

Coming from a strongly marked community by entrepreneurship and working parents autonomous, the two brothers quickly became interested also in the business world.

So that, from their majority, they launched into the field with a first business.

Today owners of Cuisine Fraîcheur Urbaine, a specialized company in the preparation of sandwiches, salads and snacks distributed at various points of sale everywhere in Quebec, they welcome us to their office from Montreal…

Montreal, June 12th 2020 – The family-owned business Cuisine Fraîcheur Urbaine, a member of le Panier Bleu, has specialized in the production and distribution of affordable, healthy, ready-to-eat meals since 2015. They now take their rightful place on the market of ready-to-heat dishes.

This is a new step forward for the company. Known for its wide variety of innovative, delicious and artisanal dishes offered at numerous points of sale across the province, Cuisine Fraîcheur Urbaine is now expanding its offer. From producing and distributing cold meals on the go (sandwiches, salads, and lunch boxes) they now offer ready-to-eat meals to be heated up at home. The first meal marketed by Cuisine Fraîcheur Urbaine is a bowl of vegan chili, which will be sold exclusively in the Couche-Tards of the greater Montreal region for only $ 6.99 until August and will then become available at different retailers.

“The objective behind this launch is to offer a new range of ready-to-eat products for consumers who are tired of cooking at home and are looking for healthy, quick and easy solutions,” explains Tahir Lifanov, co-founder of Cuisine Fraîcheur Urbaine. “Our first ready-to-heat meal, the vegan bowl of chili, is the result of several months of testing. It can be ready to eat after only three minutes and presents itself as a delightful choice for a fresh and healthy supper on the go. ”

This company, which supplies snacks and pre-packaged meals to many wholesalers and outlets across Quebec, has been thinking about diversifying its offer with hot meats for a while now.

After months of tests in their kitchen-laboratory, Quebecers will finally be able to taste the very first hot dish from the new line of ready-to-eat meals from Cuisine Fraîcheur Urbaine; concocted especially to satisfy the greatest number of foodies.

“Beyond meat is very trendy,” continues Lifanov, “an increasing number of people want to reduce their meat consumption. That’s why our first meal, a vegan bowl of chili, ready to be heated up in three minutes at home, is fresh, tasty and healthy. Soon, we will offer other dishes, not necessarily all vegan, but who will meet the current demand of what Quebecers want to eat at home. “
